Just recently I followed the instructions in the "060 Blizzard owners manual for deactivating the card in order to use older software running on the 68k. Tried to re-activate the card following the instructions, and you guessed it, no dice. It didn't go into 68000 mode at all, and now it won't go into '060 mode either. Anyone had a similar problem? Hopefully nothing serious happened. Best regards...Art :-?

Hi
IIRC to disable the 68060 on the blizz and get the 020 on miggy board you have to push the key "2" in the miggy keyb.
To get back in to the "68060 mode" just make a hard reset or power off your amiga for a few seconds. You will see some nice copper rainbowed bars :)

Hold CTRL-A-A for 10 seconds.

Thanks for the fast help, will try them both and let you know what happened. Thanks again.

You can also get software to do it directly from Workbench... but these only work sometimes (Own experience) in different situations...
But my guess would be (as said) a good old reboot :-)
Hm, I think one of the applications is called "Embedder"... Proberbly available from Aminet...
Good luck!

Thank you all for the help. I started getting nervous 'cause the Cntr-A-A just gave a black screen, nothing else, but a power off-reboot did the trick. My Amiga is back! Didn't do much for my nerves though, bloodpressure must have sunk through the floor. Thanks again for helping me so quickly. Best regards...Art
