Typing from the show floor at AmiWest 2002 the UGN is happy to accounce our first Question Poll! With the help of Nicomen we have an online poll to ask questions and to rate other questions. The top 20 or so we will ask to Bill McEwen. The address for the poll is: http://nicomen.com/amiwestpoll/
Update on the Bill McEwen interview. I found out today he should be arriving Saturday afternoon, I will work diligently to bring him to our broadcast as soon as possible!

Hmmm what can I ask Bill? I will try to think of something to ask.

I hope when they go through the question there, the ignore those that are already well known. That is, many questions in the poll, have already been answered in a very old, very long executive update...
You know, the one about AmigaOS Road Map and what their doing with respect between now and version 5.

I don't believe that poll is representative of the most wanted questions, maybe I'm wrong but I bet there will be lots of faked votes....it should be IP based.

I do hope Amiga will present us with some nice news. Not the usual "we allready know it for months" news. Let's hope they did not only came for the free banket.

What I'd like to know is ...
Have any Non Linear editing companies been approached about porting their software to A1
ie: Ulead (mediaStudioPro) ... Adobe (Premiere)
or Hardware companies such as Ex Amiga developers
Electronic-Design (http://www.electronic-design.com)
If Ed did port AnDi then its a strong possibility that Mainactor would be ported too .. Particularly as its available on Linux anyway.
Get Ed on board and i believe that A1 would start to catch on in the NLE world once again.

I wonder what Amiga's plans are about getting software houses to port software to OS4. Are they really working hard on this? That they will contact companies and try to convince them to write software for OS4. I like to see a statement about that from Amiga.
