In an ANN thread it is revealed that a French shop www.amiga.fr has a good track record for repairing PPC accelerators. Ben Yoris confirms that Hyperion has had 3 boards repaired at this shop.

You can trust them, JJ (the man behind Amiga.fr) is wellknown as an excellent technician here in france.
He can virtually repair anything AMIGA.

Great News! Doesn't help us too much in the States, though.

Sure it does! Either send it to Germany and never get it back, or send it to France and DO get it back;-)
I do get your point though, it would be more comforting to send it to a US dealer(for distance of shipping and possibly language issues).

Hey, thanks for the information. I have a board that I need to send to DCE for repair but obviously I'll try this option. In fact I have one ppc board at dce since a yr. ago... :-(
Do you have any reference if this guy? Any email address where I can contact him? have you ever sent him something (a ppc board) for repair? Thanks! :-)
