Title: Setting up ADSL PPPoE for Debian
Post by: Amiga1200PPC on September 26, 2003, 04:49:05 PM
How do I set up Debian PPC to use my ADSL account?
I couldn't find any docs, yet.
I don't have a router, I'm using a direct ethernet to dsl-modem
connection.

What make of DSL Modem is it?
The DSL Modem is probably a router anyway from your private n/w to the internet.
You need to know the IP address of the modem (see docs with modem). use that for DNS and Default Router in Linux. See /etc for config files.
