Subject: AMIOPEN: Gary hospitalized
Gary suffered a heart attack over the weekend but is now back at home and on the way to a full recovery. He is following doctors orders to get plenty of rest and stay away from email.
He has asked me to thank you for keeping him in your thoughts and for your best wishes. He hopes to be back on email towards the end of the week.

NO WAY!
Gary is one of the kindest, most proffessional and most intelligent people it has ever been my pleasure to do business with.
Get better Gary!

Hi
I hope he will recover soon.
A strange day to have a heart attack.
Today 3 members of parliament in my country passed away because of heart attack.
Two of them are high ranking officials of the 2 large political party :(

Take it easy and get well soon :-)

Gary,
Been there. . . done that. . . (twice)
Assuming your doctor is good at what he does, listen up and in no time you'll be doing more exercise in the cardiac rehab workout room than you care to think about.
You'll love the stair-stepper machine!!
Get well soon. I'm looking forward to my pre-ordered (consumer) AmigaOne!

Know that we are all thinking of you Gary, and wishing you a speedy and complete recovery.
God bless you.
-
I suppose you lot realise this is all our fault, with the inbitching and fighting, and generally being obnoxious to everybody trying to give the Amiga (in whatever incarnation) a future.
Chin up Gary, and remember, green vegetables and a little regular exercise at least three times a week are your friends.
Actually, they're everyone's friends. ;-)
-
get well soon, Gary!
-
I hope you will get well soon.
Stay away from the internet and work in general for as long as you need to, just get well =)
-
Take care, Gary - just do all the things that your doctors tell you to do and you will do fine. Don't cut any corners in your recovery, okay?
-
Gary, I'm very sorry to hear of your heart attack. I hope your recovery is swift and complete! My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Bob
-

You'll be back on your feet in no time.

Best wishes to Gary and his loved ones.
BTW, question everything, every details in your medical care. Malpractice is one of the US's top killers, so one can never be too careful. My family has been hit by this more than once.
And, if your doc doesn't order radical changes in your diet, then he's a quack and you should both find a new one, and do your own reading on dietary factors in vascular disease.
Personally, I suggest getting literature from the Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine.
-
Wishing you a full and quick recovery. :-)
-
Gary is feeling better again :-D :-D :-D
-
Hope your back to feeling a 100% soon.

Hi
Any news on his condition?
I hope his condition is better now.
Perhaps the doctor can use "baloon" to open the blocked artery / vein. There are several advance artificial hearts, including one without any beat,
There is a new "minimally invasive" heart surgery methods that increase the speed of recovery (1 week) and minimize infection:
