Looks really really promising. Too bad I can't afford getting a PDA just now.

they are going to publish a DE desktop version of it as well, so you don't need a PDA

To be fair I have only played GTA 1. But yes, Payback KILLS GTA 1 hands down. Very, VERY good fun game.
:-D

GTA III is fantastic!!
But his game still rocks!!
I have only played the demo but am really impressed
with the speed, on my BPPC. I must admit though
I was not too happy with the 68K version.
That really put me off, but the PPC is really cool!
Especially since the Warp3D changes!!!
YeeHar!

Wouldnt the main version run on the Desktop? I mean, as long as your Desktop version has Warp3D isntall, it should be fine.
I guess they would be making a Desktop version so it can include more eyecandy and optomisations? - But as for useing OpenGL or MiniGL on the Desktop version, you'd think that same version would run on a PDA, but just do some groovey method of not loading specific librarys if the host system hasnt got them. Thus having the one version for all platforms. Cant that be done?

Im not familiar with the definition of "sandbox". That basicaly means the programs run in side a "box" and the processes, memory and everything else realted to the program is run or keept within that box. - Thats what i think anyway?

Huh what?!?? Huh? You are kidding right? Payback has been available for desktop AmigaOS for a long time now. Voted best Amiga game of the year by everyone, and voted best Amiga game of all time by a few people.
