What is it speed(s)?  And of course what is your price ? :rtfm:
Seagate makes a SCSI HD that has an extremely fast access speed and transfer rate...this model is great just for your OS or OS(s) ..and the upshot is that it's seperate from your work drive...my email is forest@psnw.com

 thank you.

Sure they're cheap.....
But this ones cheaper.
I bought 47 gig SCSI Seagate drive (new)
for $19.00 + shipping.

The problem is formatting and partitioning it.

I have OS 3.9 and it doesn't reconize it for what
it is. HDTools thinks its a 20 meg drive.
I checked Aminet and a GOOGLE search but
haven't fond a solution for this problem.
If anyone knows how to fix this I'd really
like to know.

OK......

This is the site.......

    surpluscomputers.com
    ---------------------------------
Just do a search on 'Seagate'

They also have a '9' gig ( I think it was ) for
$7.95 or there abouts ( don't quote me on that )

Now if someone will tell me how to partition and
format this drive I'll be happy.

Why buy a 47.0 GB 5400 rpm 13.2 ms drive and furthermore a 5 1/4 " one? Then rather buy a Seagate Barracuda...

@ Doctor

We couldn't do so anyway, that company only ships to US
Unless you order over $1000 worth

The reason I bought this drive is it is only intended
as a back-up drive. I have a 1 gig Conner drive as
my internal on the WarpSCSI. Its quite fast.
This Saegate doesn't have to be fast. I just wanted a
large drive for storage and back-up.
And at 800,000 hrs. MTBF this drive should last
me forever. It will be in an external drive box that I
only turn on when I need the CD Rom or something
off the back-up drive. I have a 1 gig drive as a backup
now but for the price I didn't think I could go wrong.
 :-(  little did I know  :-(
Formatting and partitioning 'IS' a problem.
I still need some help here  :-D
