Title: New beta version of WinUAE released
Post by: Maddestman on April 22, 2002, 03:36:13 PM
A new beta version of WinUAE is now available at The WinUAE homepage (http://www.winuae.net/).

Apparently it should fix slowdown problems related to sound emulation.  There's also a P96 Fix.  At the moment they have server problems, so if you're interested, and go to the site to only get an error message, try again a bit later.

It is Windoze, as in to doze as your bloated OS slowly reboots after hanging up.

I spell it Windoze, to show that you might as well have a snooze while you wait for it to start and to do certain things, and also to generally show my loathing and disgust that such an ineffective Operating System became the most widely used software in the world.

So it is Windoze. :-D

Geee and it still does not multitask...
Hey, my A500 never stopped the system just to write to a floppy...
But my xp1500 with Win2k does... strange ???
And I could go on, but ofcourse you know all this stuff... :-x

And I suppose everyone knows why the 'wait' icon in Windows is an HOUR GLASS!!! Good one, Bill!
