Title: AmigaOS 4.0 Installer

Will I be able to install AmigaOS 4.0 from linux or do I have to run the installer the AmigaOS?

I believe you have to boot from the OS4 CD to install it - just like you would have to for any other OS install.

question - why would you want to (install OS4 while in Linux)?

Thets say you only have one IDE cable and you don't want to go through the trouble of making your cd drive a master.

Boot Floppy? My PC doesn't even have one of those antiquated things. I wouldn't even dream of putting one in an A1.
That what a Boot CD is for!  :-D
