"Due to the continuing rising cost of finding stock of Zipsticks and Comp Pro 5000 we have had to take the decision to increase the price on these two Amiga Joysticks.
Stocks are becoming a real problem and we are finding it more difficult to source these two types. We will hold the current price for two weeks and then they will have to rise.
On a brighter note, we have managed to secure a good stock of Comp Pro Mini Clear.
Please visit Amiga Joysticks (http://www.amigajoysticks.co.uk) to see the current range."

I say only one thing:
TAC2
.
SlimJim

nono Zipstick is the king :-D.
-
Hehe i still have my Competition Pro Extra with transparent plastic, rapid fire and slow motion!! LOL! Those were the days! 8-)
-
I've got 5 working TAC-2's and a whole bunch of other assorted amiga joysticks in a box in the attic. Perhaps I should set up a business? :-D
-
Wow! Someone still actually sells those things, amazing.
I wish I'd known that a few years ago.
I'm almost tempted to buy one, just in case...
;-)

I agree with slim jim Tac 2 the 1 edition american made, but it's possible to live with the china manufactured too. Or Wicos Arcade/red ball sticks
-
Bah! Just go to HAPP Controls (http://www.happcontrols.com/) and order the parts to build your own. I've build a 4 man console box using only HAPP parts and it is arcade gaming at its best. Their Ultimate Joystick is the bomb. :)
-
There's only ONE joystick good enough for Amiga gaming (microswitched gaming anyway, not potmeters).:
The Suzo Arcade, best thing the Dutch computerindustry (*cough*) ever made! :-D
-
Nonono...
Cheetah Bug every time.
I've got through about 6 of the things. They weren't really built to last, but they were great when they DID work :)
-
Sorry but you can't beat the Zipstick for durability. I'm still using the same Zipstik that I bought in 1988 for my Amstrad CPC464 that I had at the time!!
-
I have to agree with anonymous on The Bug, still my fave game controller. It along with my previous fave The Speedking) turned my gameplaying from average joe to someone who could actually beat (some) games! :-D
Now if only Konix hadn't got silly ideas about a console, and what happened to Cheetah? :-?
