Title: ideas on software to show off PPC
Post by: billchase on September 23, 2003, 09:47:18 PM
I would like to get a hold of more software
to "show off" my A4000T/PPC.  Aside from
the usual ppc port of Doom or Quake, what
does anyone recommend?  Utilities, demos,
games, anything.  Here is my setup:

A4000T / 060 /233MhzPPC
128MB Ram
Picasso IV w/P96
OS 3.9 w/BB2
WarpOS

Thanks!

I was very happy with Payback. It's a nice Grand Theft Auto clone. GLQuake was also impressive. I've yet to try Quake 2, Wipeout, and Shogo.

but programs like "tornado , Worldconstruction set , fantastic dreams etc...should show you some atleast..."

Ok, what about programs available on Aminet?

Speaking of using 3d cards, anyone care to comment on the Mediator 3000T/4000T card?
I would like to add a 3d card.  How many Zorro
slots are left open and how well does it intergrate
with the 4000T case?

Thanks!
