Hi all,
I have a registered version of whdload and got some abandonware HD games. I use blizkick to save my ROM and copy it (with the right name, something like kick40068.A1200) and the contents of skick345/kickstarts in devs:kickstarts.
Now when I start the game I get an error window :
"error during 'resload_loadkick' invalid kickstart image".
What do I do wrong ? I have the kickstart3.1 with the right name and the kick40068.STB both in devs:kickstarts so why whdload tells me my kickstart is wrong ?

I hope you're not grabbing the kickstart when blizzkick has already applied patches to it, are you?
-
no.
forgot my config : A1200PPC+BVPPC+OS3.9

I think the problem then is that the game images are abandonware. Most of these images are just cracks. WHDLoad patch the game very precisely and won't work with cracks, only the original versions.

Ok but the source of the game is BTTR, fully legal.

ok, maybe Legal is the wrong word..but Original disk images are required for 90% of the whdinstalls. Some installs do allow the BTTR Cracked versions to work, but but the idea of whdload is to preserve gamesin there original state, not to waste time supporting cracked versions.
required files in devs kickstart are as follows :-
kick34005.A500.RTB - 4020
kick40068.A1200.RTB - 5008
kick34005.A500 - 262144
kick40068.A1200 - 524288

whdload roxxor!
anyway you need an a500 rom + and a1200 rom.
