Post by: System on May 23, 2001, 04:05:09 AM
Sharp (http://www.sharp.co.jp) today demonstrated (http://www.amiga.com/corporate/052201-sharp.shtml) its
Zaurus (http://sharp-world.com/corporate/news/010515.html) hand-held computer running
AmigaDE applications at the 2001 Business Show in Tokyo. The event marks the first public
demonstration of AmigaDE applications by Sharp.

Editors Comment: For those who dont know, AmigaDE is a hardware independent operating system
which can run native or hosted on dozens of platforms and operating
systems.  You write your application once and it works unmodified no matter
what the CPU. If you code for AmigaDE your application will run without
recompiling on the new Sharp PDA, and any other device with the OS
installed including Windows, Linux, WinCE, EPOC and dozens more.

If you are interested in developing for AmigaDE you can
purchase the SDK from Amiga (http://"http://www.amiga.com/products/SDK.shtml)
for both Windows and Linux.
