"Today, Microcode Solutions (http://www.microcode-solutions.com) finalized preparation for the production of PowerPC hardware to be used in PC compatibles and next generation Amiga
machines."
Editors Note: We dont exactly know what this
hardware is or what it does, but Im sure we will find out soon enough.
The hardware will come with software to emulate a Power Macintosh(tm) computer.
More information concerning the emulation will be released in the near
future.
Specifications for the hardware will not be released until the hardware is ready
to ship. However, we can say that the hardware will have some astounding features
designed around simplifying 3rd party development, including emulation
technology.
Microcode Solutions will be offering free developer hardware to qualified companies and
3rd party developers (including freeware/shareware). Microcode Solutions will also be
releasing a complete SDK for the hardware to the public, and provide technical support
to anyone interested in developing software for this hardware.
