According to the Register, Matrox is to unveil a new chip, no later than at the end of May. The register thinks to could be a single chip solution to be named the G550. The register believes it will be 0.18 micron in size, it is to have 32 Megs of 128-bit DDR SDRAM memory a 350Mhz DAC and will support dual rendering pipelines with three texture units per pipeline as well as supporting 1x, 2x and 4x AGP.
