Title: The Lowdown on Jabber Instant Messaging

Most of us are familiar with ICQ, AIM, MSIM and many others but theres a new player on the scene which is not only open source but connects all the other instant message technologies together in a single application.  Could Jabber (http://www.binaryfreedom.com/content.php?content_id=2) be the ultimate instant message system?
