Title: AMD launches 64-bit Hammer tools

AMD (http://www.amd.com) (the lesser of two evils) has released some software tools to allow 32bit AMD CPUs to run x86-64, the 64bit instruction set for their new Hammer line of CPUs due next year.  The AMD 64bit CPUs will be another blow to Intel who is falling behind in the CPU market technology wise.  You can find out more about the tools here (http://www.zdnet.co.uk/news/2001/2/ns-20277.html).
