Title: Voodoo update
Post by: System on December 27, 2000, 03:15:00 PM
From the CyberGFX web site - "Another CGX first! CyberGraphX is now running on the fastest Voodoo card you can buy! The CGX drivers are up and running on the duel VSA-100 chip Voodoo5 5500 PCI (http://www.3dfx.com/prod/voodoo/v5-5500PCI-overv.html) in the G-REX (http://www.vgr.com/g-rex). "

This completes the Voodoo series currently. CGX now supports the Voodoo3 2000/3000, Voodoo4 4500 and Voodoo5 5500.

As a informational side note a company called I/ITSEC (http://iitsec.org/) is making a Voodoo5 6000. It will not be available as a product for public consumption. It has four TMUs - texture memory units. You can read a review here (http://www.voodooextreme.com/hw/previews/v5_6000/) of the Voodoo5 6000. Anyone want to send one over for an CGX driver?
