Title: SCSI removable SYQUEST 44-88MB and Emulator
Post by: GoodLook on September 19, 2003, 01:09:41 PM
Hi,

I can get a Syquest from a friend. I want to move all data from my Amiga 200 to my PC. Can I connect this SYQUEST SCSI to my WinXP system and read the Amiga formatted disks in Windows ? Or should I do this with a Amiga Emulator on my windows system, I got winXP,2000 and 98 systems running?

I'd suggest you use the disks in FAT format, that way you don't need to use an emulator. (Install Fat95 on the Amiga side)

If you really really want to format them on the Amiga, WinUAE should be able to mount the device on the PC side and you can then use the emulator to copy the files to a dir on your PC's hard drive.
