Hi,
I got my Pegasos2 last week, while waiting for 4.1 I tried MorphOS 2.2, I ran MorphOS 2.2 on an old Voodoo 4 PCI card and I got 1920x1200 resolution automatically (very nice install/setup BTW).
On my Workbench 4.1 setup (which is great BTW) I am now using a more modern Radeon card with 64 MB memory, but I can only run up to 1920x1080 resolution? Anyone got an idea?

Do you think it might be a limitation of the actual video card? What model of Radeon is it?
-
I think its a 9250 with 64MB memory. But isnt it strange that a Voodoo 4 from 2000 can do 1920x1200 and the Radeon not?

Its interesting that the newer card is limited to Full HD resolution, whereas the older card may have been made at a time when the manufacturers didn't care/know what Full HD was. In other words may be the newer card was made to output digital Tv resolutions but the older card was not?

Seems quite unlikely, of course he could try to boot MorphOS (or linux or whatever else) just to verify that the hardware is not the problem.

Radeon 9250 goes up to 2048 x 1536.

Hello,
I had a similar problem with that card on my Samsung LCD TV under linux (only it wouldn't do 1920x1080, only 1600x1200) - It turns out it wasn't acquiring the EDID of the monitor correctly, and thus couldn't see what the TV was capable of.
Believe it or not, the solution was to replace the cable with a fatass version. I assume the SDA/SCL lines weren't connected in the thinner version (or the lead was too noisy) - It's worth a shot!
Otherwise, maybe there's a way to manually enter the display timings?

I have it connected to a 15" TFT right now. 1920x1200 through VGA gives a very fuzzy image and I have one DVI for my PC so I let the case rest for a while.
BUT AmigaOS in 1920x1080 on proper hardware is F"n amazing!
