Hi,
Is anybody aware of any memory testing software for the Amiga, along the lines of "memtest86" for the pc? i.e. a boot disk that does a low level memory check for hardware faults?
I no longer have any old pc's available to test out memory simms on so looking to test them properly in my amiga instead.
Thanks,
- Ian.

I've tried that one on my a4000 machines. It doesn't work neither UAE or a real machine

@Fizzy
At amibay (http://www.amibay.com/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=2384&hilit=memorytesting) I asked the same question. I just got one good answer.
http://amiga.resource.cx/install/M1230XA-101.dms
Was the answer I got, haven't had time to test it yet though.

There is also an alternative memtest available from a1k.org: click (http://www.a1k.org/forum/showpost.php?p=223184&postcount=105)
Please remove .pdf extension after download! Type raw "memtest" to see program options.

microbotix memtest 1.12 (can be found on amiga.resource.cx)

The Quikpak 4060 install disk has a memtester program. You can download it from my site on http://www.hd-zone.com

The Advanced Amiga Analyzer has a pretty good memory test included.
You don't need the dongles to use this test.
Also - many RAM cards include a RAM test if they have any software at all included. I just checked an old ICD AdRAM 540 disk, and it includes a RAM test too.
Hope this help...
