Just wanted to to let you know that I tried the Logitech Nano and Logitech notebook laser wheel mouse on my Amiga 4000T 060 and they work perfectly. It is so nice to have a wireless wheel mouse on the Amiga. I'm going to try various usb keyboards too.
No drivers required except what Poseidon has. Deneb is at V9 and Poseidon is at 4.2
Deneb has really brought Amiga into current times.

Does the USB mice only work in Workbench & OS legal apps?
If you load a WHDload game for example, you cannot use the USB mouse there right?? (Pretty sure you cannot but I thought I'd ask).
-
Didn't try any games just WB apps.

If you were to flash Deneb so she'll boot with the appropriate RomTags and modules, it should work with native games. Methinks...
-update- @ MozzerFan: Bummer!

Alexh is right. USB keyboards and mice won't work in games.
They will only work with workbench and os friendly apps.

Nah, I didn't think it could possibly work and I am right.
The games hit the hardware directly and expect the mouse to be connected to the mouse-port.
Sort of ruins USB for HID devices on classic Amiga's.

Nope, it cannot hack itself into the hardware registers and the usb stack needs multitasking enabled. In fact, when running any os disabling game, you should set Poseidon offline before (also with WHDLoad), because these games usually kill all interrupt handlers and when there's an interrupt coming from a Zorro board, the game will freeze.
WANTED: AHI soundcard.
Tried an USB soundcard yet?

Well, I wouldn't be so pessimistic. Enables a lot more than three button mice, but also mice with even more buttons, scrollwheels and whatnot. Multimedia keyboards. Also USB tablets and the nifty 3D space navigator with three rotational and shift axis.
And, the HID joypad stuff works fine in UAE and MAME, that's good enough for me ;)

-OP, sorry for being off topic-
Yes, I did. I bought the latest 5.1 channel USB Soundblaster and after fiddling with AHI, got it to work and sound great! Problem was, at the time, I had been using a flash drive on my A2500 (no HD) and there was serious conflict. No matter how you adjusted the buffers, etc., processor just couldn't keep up. Now that I have gone back to using a real SCSI HD, I may try it again.
I was thinking a real AHI soundcard such as the Sunrize 516 would be better, more flexible, out of sight, could digitise in 16-bits and keep the Soundblaster down in the basement where it does a much better job than the built-in sound of an iBook :-)
