Pretty silly thread anyway.
I just made the decision to get rid of my SF comic books collection because I'm on low funds now and want to get some more from the Amiga franchise (e.g. classic gaming music CD and more).
So maybe some of you could quote something you gave up on for sake of Amiga stuff? Hope I won't see the marriage word on the list...

I sold a huge comic collection to fund my first A500 setup... and regretted it years later. :)

I gave up my NEO GEO AES plus games .
I also gave up a Neo Geo MVS complete with Metal Slug X.

In the late 80's as a teenager, I sold a hi-end Kyocera CD player (DA710CX) I bought for $800. Sold it for $500 and put that toward an A500 and 1084 monitor. That combo was nearly $800 IIRC. Have regretted selling the CD player ever since, but I get to see it every now and again since my Uncle bought it! lol A500 is looooong gone, but had used it daily from 88-1996!

Two virgins, erm I mean Atari Users..

Damn, I thought you meant for rights to the trade name. I would happily give up my house and other assets (maybe even a few Amiga computers) for it.

How much have I sacrificed for Amiga?
Everything

Back in the day (1987?88?) i sold my complete "state-of-the-art" C=64 setup: 1902A monitor - C=64C american - 1541C - Action Replay VI cart - around 700 disks full of programas & games - 1260 printer - about 25 C= related books - 2 Commodore modems (300 and 1200 bauds) - 8 joysticks (Epyx) - 2 Epyx Fast loads - around 300 magazines (Compute!, Run among others), and many other stuff, just to get my first A500 i bought form electronic´s boutique (i guess that was the name), during an exchange student i had in San Diego, California...
Oh...later....i guess i ended up sacrificiyng about 2 or 3 girlfriends who just couldnt understand my passion for the machine...and finally....my ex fiancee, who was fed up with me, receiveng ebay packages Amiga related from all over the world... :-D :-D :-D :-D
Not that im single now, but my current girlfriend not only loves Amiga, but loves to play games (and usually she is better than me!!!!! :-D :-D :-D )

I almost sacrificed my left bollock for a A4000 I saw in a shop in Exeter many years ago. I decided against it as I would have had nothing to play with while I was at work!
