I just wanted to say thank you to Amiga.org.
Today is my last day here. I'm moving on to English Amiga Board because I'm wildly interested in deeper discussions about WinUAE development. Toni Wilen is there.
http://eab.abime.net/
You can find my new name: AmigaBoingBall
I want to tackle and study deeply how WinUAE and the future direction of WinUAE and Amiga Emulation in general is headed. I also plan to do a podcast just on Amiga Emulation to cater to the Amiga Forever Community.
Kind Regards,
AmigaKidd

sorry to see you go, although not sure why has to be one of EAB or Amiga.org?
-
When it comes to WinUAE, chatting about WinUAE on EAB is better than talking about WinUAE here, because WinUAE is more popular amongst the WinUAE users on EAB, which has lots of WinUAE discussion about all things WinUAE, and not to mention the author of WinUAE is there to talk about WinUAE with you, so it's a good choice if you want to chat about WinUAE to go to EAB to chat about WinUAE.
-
I am absolutely all for saving the history in the form of emulation, and I think WinUAE does a great job of it. But still, when it can emulate the "feel" of using a real Amiga, come back and let me know :) Good luck on your en devours.

Maybe we are just too friendly, and not controversial enough to maintain the interest of some people :-?
-
I can inform you that I have an account here on Amiga.org AND on EAB and the internet still works.
Yes, its true!
I can post on both EAB and Amiga.org and I even visit Amigaworld.net sometimes (but I havent got an account there because I havent got anything to say).

somebody teach this guy the "open new tab" feature.
-
And how to add to the favorites...

unless he uses Internet Explorer 6 or less.
Some people still think that is still the ONLY browser to use on a PC.

Damn these new forum rules that state that we can only belong to ONE Amiga site. :-(
-
Where does it say that Darrin ?
I was an EAB member *LONG* before joining here.

Amigaworld? Never heard of it. :-)
They can have my Minimig when they prise it from my cold, dead fingers! :-P

Meh...
-
I've often thought it's kind of strange that people feel the need to "leave" a forum for another. It isn't as if you can't be a member of many.
Speaking of UAE, is there an x64 native JIT implementation yet?
-
Yeah, I can't see why someone couldn't be a member of both A.org and EAB ... As I've said before, each board has it's own 'vibe', but they compliment each other nicely....

After some thought I am invoking the antiquated anti-exodus/external linking rule and locking this thread. In the past these type of threads descend into site-vs-site flame wars.
If you feel this thread should reopen for some reason, feel free to PM me or another moderator.
