Will Whdload run on a unexpanded 600. It has 1MB internal memory and 2MB expansion (Sram card). It has 2.05 ROMS.

You won't be able to run everything, but it should mostly work. The quitkey function relies on an 010+ feature, but some installs have been fixed to work on a plain 000. You'll be limited by your RAM, of course, and there might be trouble with installs that need a 1.3 or 3.1 ROM image (there are some games that just refuse to work on my 600, not sure if that's why).

I got a 1.3 rom image from my trusty old 500 thats under the bed. (needs a keyboard) I also have a 603 memory expansion on the way from AmigaKit. That will bring me to 4MB memory

That extra meg will give you a little more flexibility.
Regarding the ROM images, it's not an issue of having them, but an issue of the plain 000 and 16bit RAM in the 600 being able to use them. At least, that's what I suspect. I can only speculate at this point.

It is possible to run games on an A600 with 2 MB chipmem.
I have an A600 with a 1mb chipmem expansion. It works, but you have to comment the "PreLoad" option out like (PreLoad).
Most ECS or OCS Games works, but some don't.
