Actually, reports of me eating puppies are grossly exaggerated! I only eat puppies on days ending in “Y”.
But seriously, hi there! Been a while! I just wanted to stop in and say hi, as some friends and long time customers have asked for my return. I have nothing against Amiga.org and have never publicly stated I was leaving here. I did say so in private out of frustration to a couple friends, but cooler minds than my own at the time prevailed. I'm not going to touch that last thread but to say I apologize to the casual reader who made have taken offense to my comments. I think they were grossly taken out of context, but that what matters is the outcome of those comments. After some time for reflection I've decided to remove anyone added to my eBay blocked bidder list involved in that mess, with the exception of 2 people who left malicious false negative feedback directly causing the loss of $350 in Power Seller discounts. I am lifting this because I know that I was part of the problem, partially due to stresses of offline life. I also know I am not alone in offline stresses, so I will not hold a grudge. Life can and will be ugly to everyone at some point. If you try to buy or bid on something and find yourself blocked, message or email me to let me know. After 12+ years on eBay as a seller, I have a very long blocked bidder list and the vast majority have nothing to do with recent events.
Going forward you will probably see much less casual posting from me, if and when I do post will be mostly business related. My personal hobby time is becoming more limited, so free time is getting mostly allocated to C= 8bit.
Thank you for your time.

Welcome back Redrumloa!
:D

Do you raise your own or buy them from the street vendor in Seoul ?
-
:-o
Wow, glad to see you back Jim! I'd like to publicly & privately state that the entire thread did get out of hand, some assumptions were made on my part and I apologise for the contribution of "running you off". Never meant for the straits to become that dire. You coming back and removing most of your blocked bidder list is surely an important and mature thing. For both A.org and personally. I hope this proves we can put the past behind finally and move forward.
Oh and I wish I had been allowed to be a part of the bidding on that A1000 w/ Rejuvenator you had a little while back. Oh well

Welcome

Thanks :-D

Thanks a lot Frank, I am sorry too. It all simply got out of hand and my head was not in the right place. You have already been removed from my blocked bidder list and obviously I would be thrilled to have you as a customer one day.

Welcome back :-)
I've only been on a.org for a few years, but I still missed some of your threads and comments :-)
-
@redrumloa
Hi,
Good to see you back. I've also encountered some attitude (here and elsewhere) that could make me give up on Amiga and various forums. Just grow thick skin (or a shell like Turtles), and remember, not everyone on the net or forums will like you.
Reality of life, not everyone is a fan boy and there are many jealous and people full of envy.
Happy Easter, and good to see you have returned.
-
@ Red.
It`s good that you`re back.
-
Who is this redrumloa guy ? Why's he so special?
I'll tell ya why.
I've only been here a short while, and though I've never dealt with him personally, I can say his posts and comments have never come across in any way in a negative light.
His is one name I see in posts that I know won't leave me stunned or pissed off or wondering why he even laid finger to keyboard.
And anything that could be construed as negative; I've never felt his stance was unjustified .
It is for this reason I am glad he's back. WE need more people who contribute to our dwindling community.
Thanks, red!

So tomorrow you won't eat puppies then?
(since tomorrow ends in a "w" :-D)

I wonder how many of Doomy's accounts are on that list
Welcome back red! It never crossed my mind you would leave the Amiga scene completely so you were bound to come back here someday anyway :-)
-
Welcome back
:pint: :pint:
-
Oh no, not this Red character again! I thought we had run him off for good and would not be bothered by him ever again.
I am just going to have to find a different place to hang out if he is going to be around here again.
:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
(Welcome back Red! I was hoping that you would return sooner than later)

Hi,
Didn't know that you were gone, but anyhow,
---WELCOME BACK RED---
Hey on that eating puppy stuff, my wife is Filipino, and she knows how to make some great puppy barbecue, she has just the marinade to take that wild taste out, and if you get an older dog, it softens the meat like puppy meat. If you want I will have her cough up the receipe (you know all wifes receipes are secret or higher), but I just bought a new baseball bat that I am willing to try out on her to get her to give me the receipe.
