Nope i think. Check carefully if this card is pcmcia 16bits (and so 5V) before testing it...

A choice with no risk is the Netgear MA401 (cheap and yet easy to find on second hand).

Even if it's 16bit check what chipset it uses and if there are drivers for it.
Check prism2.device on aminet.

its 5V for sure, but manual says nothing about 16/32 bit chipset should be agere.

"PC Card Type II" should be fine. It just refers to the shape. I don't know what "PC Card Type II Extended" means though. It might just mean that the antenna sticks out. :-)
