Title: CV64/3D and genlock
Post by: trilobyte on April 06, 2009, 05:21:51 PM
Hi,

When I originally purchased my A4000T, it had a CV64/3D in it.  I have since swapped that out for my PicassoIV, which works great, and also works when a Toaster 4000 board is in the other video slot.  It is great that the PIV doesn't have any issues with genlock, internal or external.  I wonder, is this also the case with the CV64/3D?  Can it be in a machine that also has a Toaster or a SuperGen or G-Lock?

Thanks,
t'byte

Yes it can, but Toaster might disable them when using it.

The only genlocking related problems you may have with graphics cards is that the Amiga may be putting out junk on the video port while you're using an RTG screen. If your PIV worked together with your equipment, so will any other card.
