Title: Kitchen Sync daughter cards question
Post by: AltRN8 on April 03, 2009, 12:16:42 AM
So I recently purchased a Kitchen Sync dual TBC card and I am trying to find out more information about the card. I know the card can have up to 3 daughter cards on it of which the card I purchased only has two. What I was wondering is what is the purpose of the individual cards or more specifically the one I am missing.

The card I am missing is the one furthest from the ISA connector. As a reminder for folks who might have owned one in the past here is a link to the picture on the Amiga Hardware site. http://www.amiga-hardware.com/showhardware.cgi?HARDID=1298

The identity of the specific use of the other cards would be a definite bonus.

Thanks!

The two cards you alredy have come with the TBC stanmdard. The one you are missing will allow you to output S-video signals The kitchen sync has S-video connectors on the breakout box but it will not process S-video out of the output if it does not have the 3 card installed.

Or the third position will take a genlock board, although I bought the only one I have ever seen for sale ...

Thanks for the info. The control display does bring up a genlock menu is that indicative of there being a genlock board installed?
