Title: WHDLoad - revisited
Post by: motrucker on April 02, 2009, 06:12:34 PM
I am using WHDLoad V16.9 on an A1200 (NTSC) with an '030 accelerator w/32Mb RAM, a Squirrel SCSI with a Sony CD ROM/ Writer and a 1942 monitor. This setup has been working great, 'till I DLed Chaos Engine. This game has sound, but I can't get any video. I have DLed three different Chaod Engine files, and all three do the same thing. The original disks I have work fine.
Any ideas?

Yep - that was suggested, but makes no difference

What display are you using?

Also, have you tried the "PLEASE_WORK" tooltype?

Well if whdload doesn't work out, why not try JST instead ?
It's a bit older, but it could work.
Just download JST (http://aminet.net/game/patch/jst.lha) and the jst installs (http://aminet.net/game/patch/jst_hdinstalls.lha).
Check the jst install / renegade dir for the chaosengine slaves.
