Hi, due to space restrictions and poor cash situation I have decided to sell up my Amiga setup.
It consists of:
A1200 w/3.1 ROMS in POWER TOWER
CD-RW DRIVE & CD-ROM DRIVE
E-Matrix 030 accelerator board @ 40MHz with 32Mb RAM (very stable)
Internal floppy disk drive
80Gb HD w/registered OS 3.9 & utils installed
PS/2 Keyboard w/Amiga adaptor
Modern black Amiga mouse
This is for collection only due to the nature of the item and weight
I am based in Cheshire, UK. I can arrange to meet halfway or can demonstrate it working.
I will throw in free of charge:
CU Amiga Magazines/af ew others in excellent like new condition dated 95-98 most have disks/CDs with
If you like I can include a 17" Acer LCD Monitor complete with Amiga converter to stop flicker (it is not a flicker fixer but works well)
If you are interseted in this system please reply to the thread

I am open to offers, no silly prices though please, this system has cost a lot of money to get it to where it is today
Please bare in mind also that relatively unexpended desktop 1200s with no CD or accelerators go for £50-£60 on eBay
I am listing it here before eBay because I'd rather it goes to a proper Amiga user than someone who wants it for novelty and will not appreciate the machine

Why not post to Amibay? Lots of reputable buyers there...

I think is would be nice to have a ballpark figure of what you would like to get out of this machine. I really would love a second Amiga so I can network the two. I would also be able to encourage a friend or two to get evolved and learn more about the system so I would have someone close to discuss things with.
-
I think going by eBay and Amibay, any offer in excess of £150 would be a fair price for the lot.
Signed up to Amibay this afternoon awaiting activation

In USA, any near-stock A1200 system will sell for quite a bit more than in the UK, it appears -- $200 is pretty typical if in good condition. I would think that the tower system discussed in this thread has to be worth double that amount.
-
Thankfully, price driving is banned on Amibay...
-
I'm a bit clueless about how much the system is worth, hence the hesitation to give a "ballpark figure" and instead asked for offers.
