Title: Not receving emails

I registered yesterday and didnt receive an email but tried to log on today with success.  I have posted a forum topic and requested email feedback and there have been replies to the forum yet I have not received any emails.

Should the emails work?

Aha, PMail received.  But no email - should PMails automatically get forwarded to my email account?

I think that emails were turned off years ago.

First, welcome aboard.

There's a very visible thread about new account activation in the Announcements forum.

When your account is manually activated (as all are), there's no need to send you a confirmation.

Secondly, under "Edit Account" you should find the option for "Notification Method:" which should fix your issue.

Actually, it's PM notifications that I've been trying to kill off for years, not e-mail notifications..

It wasnt working but when I went back to Edit Account it still said private mail.  I have changed it again, hopefully it will stay that way and I will receive emails :-)
