Title: Drip - a Packman clone
Post by: Tenacious on March 17, 2009, 07:50:50 PM
This was great game for OS 1.3 or less.  I got it from an early Amiga magazine (about 1989 or 90) that came with floppies.  I have misplaced a whole box of these.

The object was to clean all of the plumbing (the maze) while avoiding the bad guys.  Your character could catch a bubble and jump from pipe to pipe.  The music was cool and if you got caught, the character would say "blah" and his glasses would pop up.

Has anyone seen this?

I think I may have this on an Amiga 2000 I bought, I'll look later.

The WHDLoad version of this game is out there. Never played it, but it does look cool in an Amidar-ish kind of way.

Edit: Just played it. Cute game, but was unplayable until I turned off the cache on my 060. Game still plays waaaay too fast (aminet version). Perhaps the WHDLoad version plays at the correct speed regardless of what processor you have.
