this (http://www.alibaba.com/product-free/101461391/Scart_Ypbpr_Component_To_Hdmi_Converter.html) thingy should work, together with this (http://www.jakeludington.com/hdtv/20080423_convert_hdmi_to_vga_with_hdcp.html)
Should work though, it supports both 480i and 576i (NTSC and PAL) :-)
