I've got a spare A1000 keyboard and cable if anyone would be interested in a trade for a 1010 disk drive in extremely nice condition. Keyboard was taken apart key by key and all the plastics were gently washed w/ mild dishwash detergent. All dust vacuumed off the mainboard. Excellent condition with only slight darkening compared to original.

Thanks webmany. PM sent. BTW: Where in this great wide world are you?

Webmany seems to have fallen off the fact of the earth :-( Keyboard still up for trade if anyone is interested. Could use a nice A2000 keyboard too and some 60ns 256kx4 DRAM chips...

Couple of deals fell through, so I am offering this up for sale outright on ePay. Already secured the 256kx4 ram chips.
EDIT: Keyboard has been sold. Thanks all!

I love this keyboard..was/is there an adapter so I can use it with my 4000Ts?

Most Amiga users back in the day did NOT like this keyboard and there were several adapters from various companies that offered the reverse of what you and I would like to do: hook a 2000/3000/4000 keyboard to the A1000. I have never seen an adapter that allows the use of the beloved A1000 keyboard on any of the other Amiga systems :-(
Perhaps Redmond cable could make one? I'm e-mailing them right now to see about this. You in? Maybe we could get the price down with a quantity order.

Not sure why anyone would NOT like this keyboard..I have always loved it..even before my A1000 ownership.
I could certainly make one @ work..would just need to source the Keyboard wire pin-out of the A1000..buy the appropriate connectors and solder them up..
I would be more than happy to make 2..
