Title: A3000D CyberStorm MKII Jumper Settings ?

Could someone help me with the jumper settings to use for using a CyberStorm MKII in an A3000D?  I am having troubles getting it to work.  An A3640 works fine but when I change to the MKII the computer does nothing.  No attempt to load the OS from harddrive and no floppy disk activity.  I was wondering if the jumper settings might be different.  Thanks,   Dan

there are two jumpers underneath  the cpu board.  switch them both.  BTW you will need to install the correct /060 libs for stuff to work.  If you miggy start to boot, then flashes and start over you don;t have the right libs....  Your screen will stay black.

the jumpers are labeled (int-ext) if memory serves me right

The computer doesn't attempt to boot.  The floppy drive does nothing.  The hard drive powers up and does nothing.  By holding down the two mouse buttons nothing happens.  When I replace the MKII with the a3640 it boots and everything is fine. I disconnected everything from the scsi line and still nothing.  I'm really thinking that there must be a jumper that needs changed.  I have tried 2 known working MKII's.  One with ram installed and one without.  I have the correct libs in the boot partition.  It never gets to a point where it would look for them.

I have an A3640 and a CSMK II in an Amiga 4000D... whenever I use the CS MK II I have to change the clock jumpers to use one or the other... so, don't expect the MK II to work out of the box after removing the A3640 and viceversa. This should be the same for the A3000D... so, remove the A3640 and change the clock jumpers and try the CS MK II, it should work.

Well, I think I have this about figured out.  When using the CS MKII you leave the jumpers the same as they were/are for the internal 030/25.  If you are going to use an A3640, then there are 3 jumpers that need changed.  If I had started with the stock configuration and installed the MKII, I would have been fine.  I was starting with the jumpers configured for the a3640.

A3640
J100 = 3-4
J102 = 2-3
J103 = 1-2
J104 = 2-3

CS MKII
J100 = 1-2
J102 = 2-3
J103 = 3-4
J104 = 1-2
