Title: CDFS GURUS
Post by: Miloo on March 03, 2009, 02:48:14 PM
Everytime I boot into WB3.9 I get 2 Gurus 'CDFS Cannot open "SCSI.device" unit 5 and Cannot open "cdrom.device" unit 0.

How do I get rid of these?

Remove everything but PIPE, VNC, VNR and CD0 from Devs/DosDrivers. (If there is CD0 and EMERGENCY_CD, remove CD0 and rename EMERGENCY_CD into CD0).

Bye,
Thomas

scsi.device has usually 0 and  1 and with 4way splitter 2 and 3 units. Check what's in Devs/dosdrivers, CD0 or something like with wrong arguments. Must be something trying to launch scsi.device and cdrom.device, with units that don't exist.

It's got rid of the one guru, just left with the 'Cannot open "cdrom.device" unit 0'.
I have PIPE, VNC, VNR (and AmigaXL + Amithon) in Devs/DosDrivers and nothing else, not even CD0

and AmigaXL + Amithon

Delete them, too. And buy a legal OS 3.9 CD. Amithlon is not meant to be used with WinUAE and certainly not with real Amiga hardware.

Thomas
