IDE 166 UDMA ROUND CABLE
CAN THEY BE USED ON MY AMIGA BUFFERD IDE INTERFACE IN MY 1200 TOWERD ANIGA?
THERE APEARS TO BE A PIN HOLE BLANKED OUT
IF I DRILL IT OUT WHAT WILL HAPPEN ANY PINOUT PIC OR ADVICE
WANTED AS THE RIBBON CABLES R SOOO UGLY

No such a thing as UDMA 166 anyway - UDMA 6 = 133 MB/s is the fastest mode there will ever be...

They're fine for normal Amiga IDE, but round cables tend to be less resistant to noise problems than flat cables at high transfer rates.
The blocked pin does nothing except force the cable to be used the right way around. Either snapping the pin off or drilling the plug will sort you out, but MAKE SURE YOU SNAP THE CORRECT PIN!!

JUST RUN THE DRILL WERE PIN 20 IS SUPOSED TO BE ITS JUS AN ALIGNMENT PIN ((DEEEER))
ALLS GOOD IN AMIGA BOX NOW
