Title: AMOS Pro and AmigaOS 4.1
Post by: Phantom on February 27, 2009, 05:01:15 PM
Well, I have to imagine that this is impossible, but I will give it a try. Is it possible to write something in AMOS Pro, then compile it to make it a standalone program and run it under AmigaOS 4.1 for example?

Is there any alternative methods, so you can compile your source code to a code compatible to the new AmigaOS 4.1 standards?

Dear Friend:

I used amospro heavily for a long time.
www.feryogi.com/amos.html
I do not know anything about os 4.1 but it seems to me amospro compiled executables should be able to run on any amiga, including OS 4.1
I think the amos executables will run fine on any amiga.
Cheers!!!

No, they most probably won't work on OS4.x as AMOS hits the hardware directly.
