EDIT Problems with filestorage. link removed.

You could use an icon datatype to open individual icons in a paint program, process them, then save them as 24bit PNGs. You'd also be able to eliminate the Workbench 2.x icon border with that method.

Thanks Matt. I will test that method. But I must say I have always had this border around the icons on my a1200 with wb3.0 and magicworkbench. It was just some year ago that I saw icons without this border for the first time. Is this some trick that is used on graphiccard expanded models?

@ cicero790
An option to turn off the border (or adjust its size) was introduced with OS3.5. The border isn't part of the .info file, but part of how the .info file is rendered by the system.
I'm guessing AROS doesn't have a way to turn it back on, so if you like it, then your cut and paste method is probably the only way to keep it on an AROS system.

I see. At least it was not a setting that had eluded me for my entire a1200 time in the nineties. :-)

Hey cicero, haven't you any screen of your MagicWB experiment? You can send 'em to me by email if you wish.

I had some problem with the image storage and the file storage. I’ll mail them and the icons. I wanted to make an icon pack for your new feature IconDress in wmvaros but did not know how.
Best regards

Are those icons you created dual state?

No sorry, only single. But they look greyed out when choosen so it kind of works i think.
