Post by: RRunner on February 23, 2009, 02:09:48 PM
There is an interesting article on Tom's Hardware about the C64. Brought back memories...

Well if by "actual" you mean the Breadbin styled case then no. However, the pictures used are all of the "slimline" Amiga wedge styled case that was released several years after the original styled case.

So yes there are pictures of an "actual" C64.

Yeah, for as much as they talked about the breadbin C64, seems they could have scrounged a picture or two of one.  It's not like they're hard to find!

And no pictures of the immense original 1541, either.  (Just the much more reasonably sized 1541-II).

And no C128, either, for that matter.  Just the 128D.  :-P  For being a picture article, it's surprisingly void of pictures.  But, at least there's some Commodore love still out there.

11 years of production, multiple design changes both internal and external and everything produced for it worked, no matter what version C64 or add-on you wanted to use ...

Now THATS compatibility!  :-)

Is that Action Replay cartridge in the expander backwards? or is that the strangest cartridge expander made?
