Does anyone have the manual for a Picasso II card available. I don't care what format it is, I just need to know how to hook up the passthrough correctly.
TIA,

Hmm, didn't know it wouldn't work in a 1200.. Good thing it's going in my 3000!
I checked the amiga-hardware site and no luck. Surely someone out there has it or can at least tell me how to hook this thing up!
Thx,

Monitor goes in "top" plug on PII, switcher cable goes to the "bottom"
plug on the PII. CV64 MkI is the same.

I have a Picasso II at home on my A3000. I'll check the connections once I get there, but if I recall correctly, when the card is inserted and you look the machine from the behind, the passthrough goes to the left and the monitor to the right socket.
I'll check though in the evening to be sure, although I dont think it'll harm even if you plug them on the wrong order.

Tried searching the Big Book of Amiga Hardware web site ??? URL = http://www.amiga-hardware.com (http://www.amiga-hardware.com)

It does work in a 1200. I'm using one right now.
As for passthrough, the Amiga video out should connect to the side closest to the 100pin Zorro connector. Picasso video out is the far VGA connector.
It's an external solution, so It'll work on any Amiga with Zorro slots. Internal passthrough graphics cards (PIV/CV3Dscandoubler) will not work on 1200s without the now-impossible-to-find video slot enablers.

lempkee cut the BS, don't state something unless you know for ####sake. You've been corrected on this same question before!

miles put it correctly!

THIS is the diagram on pages 9, 12, 14 and 17 of the version 1.0 August 31 1993 Manual (except the original is monochrome). It states:
The upper connector will be connected to the monitor. You will not damage anything by reversing the connections, it will become apparent when a Picasso II screen mode is selected that the connection is incorrect - the result will be a blank screen.
On an A3000, the to Amiga connection is to its 15pin VGA port. On MY A2000, the to Amiga connection is to the 15pin VGA port on the A2320 Video Deinterlacer board in the video slot on far-right side.
