As a technical service we have just finished installing both a Subway USB (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=137) and Indivision (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=821) in a customer's new desktop A1200 (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=305) (no cutting of case necessary).
Here is the picture of the finished installation:

@amigakit
that is so cool :-)
-
nice but thats only 1 usb port..where did you put the others :-?
-
There is no room for others in the A1200- however, you can simply put a standard powered USB hub and split this USB off into multiple ports.
-
Cant see picture?
-
Very very nice 8-)

Well done Amigakit! Really nice job. I'm looking forward to receiving my Subway + specially made clockport cable from E3B (Subway will be fed by my internal pico psu as the m/b lacks two clockport pins  and the card can't be fed "normally") and will try to do the same. Such a pity that it doesn't have at least 2 usb ports.

I have both a subway and an Indivision ready for mounting, this looks very good!

iv also fitted the INDIVISION to my A1200 its glued & locked the A1200 motherboard but is powered by the 3.3v using the PICO PSU 3.3v ( regulator removed off INDIVISION ).
output is done via a 15pin VGA socket also on the motherboard.

ah ok...can you post a picture from he top side as I would like to see how you mounted both inside the case..I have a Indivision AGA with CF card as my dh0 and would like to see how it all fits inside the case..
-
You can get more in the A1200 it just means cutting the case, this was my first attempt. Have also got my Indivision in the same place as Amigakits.

But no doubt I think just the one at the bottom left looks neater.
Cheers.

We are designing a lower profile PCB that will accomodate two USBs with the Indivision's VGA connector so this may squeeze in another port for the standard A1200 desktop without modifying the case,

please take into account the plastic insulator of the USB lead as you may not be able to use both slots if adding two ports as above in the same place.
maybe turning the USB port on it's side may help.
there's also the monitor lead plastic insulator good luck with your modifcation.

I said months ago that you should advertise all 3 as a bundle - it looks great!

@ Amigakit...a picture from the top with the front cover off would be helpful please. :-)

i was thinking a good place for the SUBWAY unit is where the mouse sit's. if you have a motherboard rev 2b you could mount the card there & move the mouse interface some else.
you can replace the mouse with a RF mouse ( wireless ) using the ten contact points on all A1200 motherboard near the mouse port just by adding 10 pin socket.
