Title: OT - Compaq Presario 2100 AMD CPU monitor
Post by: Coder on September 08, 2003, 09:10:55 PM
Hi,

It's off-topic but I like to ask anyway. Does anyone know if there is a piece of software that can monitor the AMD CPU in a Compaq Presario 2100 laptop?

Aint there generic software that can use the tempsensors? I think SiSoft Sandra something (that benchmarking thingy) also displayed the temp.

how about the bios screen?
(you'd have to reboot to get a rough idea of the true running temperature)

I use SpeedFan.  Google for it and "I'm feeling lucky".

@Cyberus,

I give that program I go. I know it I think. I used it on my AMD pc at home.

@mikeymike

Speedfan does not work. Maybe the laterst version does. But I doubt it. Will see.

Thnx everyone for the help. Hope it works.
