Title: Hello from Pennsylvania!
Post by: iconoclaST on February 04, 2009, 05:39:25 AM
Well hello everyone.
I'm Ryan, I've just recently come across a few Amigas for the first time since I was a wee lad and had an A1000.

Now I have an NTSC 2000HD and a PAL 500 (well, it's a project so far...waiting for the PAL motherboard to drop in it).

Now I just have to get monitor issues sorted out :P

Hello, and welcome, IconoclaST !! (hmm, the fact that you capitalized 'ST' has me wondering...  :-o )

I am sure someone here can help with your monitor issues. Some very smart people here on Amiga.org, well, except for me .. :-D

BTW, not sure about nowadays, but Redmond Cable used to have some Amiga monitor cables. Also, there is a site 'pinouts.ru' or something that, listed pinouts for practically everything electronic. Maybe this can help.

Welcome.

An A2000 and A500 isn't too bad a setup to begin your Ami hobby again with, provided they come relatively complete when you get them.

Oh yeah, if you have difficulties with your monitors, lots of folks around here can probably help.

Well, you have every reason to wonder. I am a proud owner of two 4MB Atari ST computers as well :P Since I've moved, Amigas are easier to come across over here in PA, while Ataris were easier to find on the west coast.

You're going to love my avatar :P
