Title: Reliability of 3rd party accelerators (non-PPC)
Post by: orb85750 on February 03, 2009, 07:08:08 AM
I've heard that some, such as GVP brand, are more reliable than others.  Any options for accelerating a classic Amiga that should be *avoided* ?  Interested mainly for A1200/1200T, but also for classic A2000/A3000.  Thanks.

At this stage of the game i would say its pot luck.  the cards are getting old and more prone to failure.  Blizzards are always well regarded, but who knows what your particular card will be like.

Agreed, i would say the Blizzards and GVP stuff is pretty well made and robust.
