Title: Help a Noob! Compact Flash HD

Hello there peeps. I hope you can help a noob out here, i have purchased an amiga 1200 from ebay (cant afford an amiga technologies one yet), i was thinking of installing a 4gb CF HD into it but im wondering what OS i am limited to without upgrading the ROM Chip? Also, if i decided to upgrade the ROM chip, would i be better with extra memory if installing OS 3.9?

sorry if i havent worded this very well but hey, i can only get better as time goes on...

You can't use OS 3.1 and above unless you upgrade the ROMS to 40.68 (3.1), and extra RAM would be better for OS 3.9.
