Title: Settling an issue about REDRUMOLA
Post by: Amiga4k on February 01, 2009, 10:01:14 PM
I am one of the sources of his vast inventory of items. Alas, I tried to be fair, and never offered anything on E-Bay.
I am the person who sold "red" quantities of C64, C1541, 1571, 1581, A500, A2000 and more. Fully cleaned, tested, drives aligned, and so forth.

I tried to sell on this forum (never E-Bay), and was rebuffed numerous times. An A2030 for only $75.00 NOS.

My prices were 1/3 to 1/2 of "red". Redrumola had to travel twice (1000 miles each trip) to get my hardware, so I reflect on that as OVERHEAD COSTS he added into his prices.
Yes, I made a few mistakes. I should have realized that my labor on these units was worth more, and after being rebuffed on Amiga.org, I should have gone to E-bay. I sold him two A2030's for a pittance of $50 each. He sold one of these A2030's on E-Bay, and got $500.

Now, who was the damn fool.

The only thing I can say is that nobody got ripped off...but one dude could have made more bucks if he wanted to  :-D
Having said that, do you have more stuff?

What are you trying to say about him exactly?

Though really, I'm not a mod here but speaking about people behind their backs (esp. web forums) is bad form.
