My reaction was: "now what ?..." when I got a mail from a guy saying that he saw my stuff on e-bay (http://cgi6.benl.ebay.be/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&userid=tintin0801&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=50)
and was willing to pay €500 for the lot. In the mean time people have been bidding on some of the items so I don't think I can just stop the whole thing now.
Anyone have any experience with stuff like this ? You can see that I don't sell stuff on e-bay regularly, in fact this is my first and probably only time, it's why I hesitated to put it on e-bay in the first place...
You guys have been very helpful in the past so I'm directing my questions to you again...

you can close the bidding on all your items and, take the money !.
with the offer of 500 euro`s ,dont hesitate,GO FOR IT !

... But you have the chance of this dude just wasting your time and not paying.
It's taking a chance really, see how bidding goes, if bids on all items comes close to 500 euro then dont bother, if the total is nowhere near just tell him to bidd on every item so that the total is 500 euro and then end the auction.

You have a point, but its a chance worth taking and he could relist for a second time for free on the items if it all goes belly up !.
And dont forget you only have to write out one forwarding address . :-D

I get offers like that all the time and I turn them down. It is against eBay's TOS to end an auction after there has been a bid. Also eBay keeps track when someone does this. If you plan on doing business on eBay in the future I'd recomend not breaking their TOS. :-(

The people making these offers almost never bid on the item after their offer is refused anyhow. What does that tell you?

Tell the guy to place a 500EUR bid. That way, if nobody else outbids him, he'll get it, possibly cheaper.
This is how ebay works...

Thanx again guys. This really is a great community. I'm almost going to feel sorry I sold the Amiga ! Well only till I get one of those new ones that is. :-D
Btw. I already told the guy to bid on the stuff he wants.

Also keep in mind that I'm in PAL country ! Doesn't matter for some stuff but it sure does matter for the DPS PAR...

Only the 1010, I'd lower that starting price IMHO. i think everything else will sell.
