Any news ??
It would be nice if Oliver Roberts could tell us the state of IBrowse 3.
IBrowse is a joy to surf the web with !

It would be nice with an update.IBrowse 2.4 works best of all browsers but sadly enough the web is so filled with javascripts and other stuff that crashes all of them so I can't really agree about it being a joy surfing with it.
Has it ever been announced? Checking ibrowse-dev.net doesn't say anything.

On the IBrowse Mailing List, I've read some time ago that the intention was to release an intermediate version before the final 3.0 .
If that will support at least css positioning, that would be great.
@Oliver Roberts:
If u're reading this, can u confirm it ?
-
Well, if this is true it is definately something necessary. We need a css capable browser. The way that the web has developed the last few years it's almost impossible to surf the net without one.

IBrowse 3.0 was announced as being OS 4 specific so the intermediate form might be the last version for Amiga OS 3.x .
-
Well, there's always an end to everything so I'm not surprised really. Just hope this intermediate version does arrive and that it at least improves on some things to make browsing easier on a 3.x amiga.
Like things are now not even a simple page like hotmail can be accessed with an amiga 3.x browser.

Hotmail may not work in IBrowse, but GMail works perfectly.
I've been really looking forward to a newer version of IBrowse to run on my A1200. This is my primary computer for everything, so being able to visit more sites would have been awesome. I hope we get an OS3 update, I'm sure there are more potential customers for an updated OS3 version than OS4 at the moment (not only classic, but UAE/Amiga Forever users), though an OS4/PPC specific version as well is great. I just think dropping OS3 support is kinda sad, since there's still a market for it.

I would love for it to come out.... :)
